
With deep sorrow, we announce the death of Roman Hryhorenko, junior sergeant and combat medic, in the fight for Ukraine’s freedom.
Roman Hryhorenko, born in 1988, was a resident of the village of Piddubne. Since April 2, 2022, he served in the military unit 3055 of the National Guard of Ukraine. While performing a combat mission on September 21, 2025, near the village of Berestok in the Kramatorsk district of the Donetsk region, he received a fatal injury due to shelling.
He is survived by his wife Uliana, daughter Darina, and son Zakhar. This is a great and irreparable loss for the family, friends, the entire community, and Ukraine.
