Andrii Medvid, born in 1975, was killed in action for Ukraine while carrying out a combat mission in Kharkiv region.
The serviceman was a private, a driver-mechanic of a border anti-aircraft missile outpost of the third rapid response border commandant’s office of military unit 9937.
According to available information, on 4 September Andrii Medvid was killed near the village of Chorne in Kharkiv region while carrying out a combat mission.
The community extends its sincere condolences to the family and friends of the fallen soldier, acknowledging his contribution to the defence of Ukraine’s independence and freedom.
