Teroborona fighter from Novoyavorivsk Serhiy SIDANICH returns to his native home for the last time
The bloody war took the life of the territorial defense defender from Novoyavorivsk Serhiy Sidanich. His life ended in Kharkiv Oblast. The fighter died at the age of 38.

The Hero’s prayer meeting will be held on July 6 at 11:00 a.m. in front of the Ivan Mazepa monument.
Farewell and funeral rites will be held on Thursday, July 6, at 3:00 p.m. in the Church of the Intercession of the Holy Mother of God, OCU, Novoyavorivsk. The Ukrainian soldier will be buried at the Novoyavorivsk cemetery.
Serhiy Yaroslavovych Sidanich was born on March 19, 1985 in the village of Shumyach, Turkiv district.
In 2000, he graduated from the Novoyavoriv School No. 1, then entered the Novoyavoriv School.
In 2003-2005, Serhii served in the 95th separate airborne assault brigade.
He worked as a construction worker at the Balmix enterprise.
He fought courageously almost from the very beginning of the full-scale war as part of the 103rd separate brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Almost a year and a half on the front line, but on July 3, 2023, Serhii’s life was cut short during artillery shelling.
Mother Maria Vasyslivna, wife Galina, children Nataliya and Matviy, sister Oksana, nephews Zakhar and Andriy, brother-in-law Bohdan were waiting for the husband at home.
