Mykola Petriv, a resident of the Drohobytsk community, died on the Kupyansk direction of the front

The Drohobytsk community lost another son – Mykola Petriv died during the defense of Ukraine from the enemy

Mykola was born on September 18, 1965 in the village of Oriv, Skoliv district. He graduated from a local school, then joined the army and served in the navy for three years.

After his marriage, Mykola lived in the village of Dolishnaya Luzhok, Drohobytsk community.

After the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukrainian lands, Mykola volunteered to defend his native land. He completed the training and since May of last year he was involved in the defense of the country at the advanced positions of the front.

The hero defended Ukraine as a member of the 2nd rifle company of the 67th separate battalion of the 103rd separate brigade of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces, HC A-7079.

Unfortunately, on October 9, Mykola came under enemy fire on the Kupyansk direction of the front and died as a result of his injuries.

The soldier’s relatives left his mother, wife, three children, brother and grandchildren.

Drohobytsk City Council, its executive committee, Mayor Taras Kuchma and Council Secretary Orest Karakevich express their sincere condolences to the family, relatives, friends and friends regarding the untimely death of the Hero – Mykola Petriv.

The time of arrival of the funeral convoy with the body of the fallen Hero is expected tomorrow, October 11, at 2:00 p.m. at the Crossroads of Heroes.

At 7:00 p.m., a parastas will be held in the native house of the deceased in the village of Dolishnii Luzhok.

Hero’s funeral will be held on Thursday, October 12, at 11:00 a.m. in Dolishny Luzhk. The deceased will be buried at the cemetery in Dolishny Luzhko.
