As the head of the Lviv Oblast State Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, announced at 01.00 a.m. today, 27 June, an air alert has been declared in the region.
“There is a threat of a dagger attack from MiG-31K,” said the head of LOVA.
Brief tips on what to do during an air raid:
-
Immediately go to a shelter – basement, subway, car park or specially equipped shelter.
-
Do not ignore the alarm, even if there has already been a “fake call”.
-
Avoid windows and open spaces – do not stand near glass, do not stay outside.
-
Have an emergency suitcase – documents, water, first aid kit, flashlight, power bank.
-
Switch off gas and electrical appliances if you leave home for a long time.
-
Stay in the shelter until the “all clear” signal – do not leave earlier.
-
Help children, the elderly and people with disabilities to get to safety.
-
Do not film or distribute videos of shelling or landing sites – this is detrimental to defence.
