In the Lviv region, over 72 million UAH were raised in one evening for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, the communities of the Lviv district, together with businesses, set a national record for the amount of donations during a single charity event. Over 72 million UAH were accumulated during an auction held by the ‘Birds of Victory’ project.
Already, 430 drones have been sent to the frontline, including 420 attack FPV drones and 10 Mavic 3T drones. These are pieces of equipment that operate over long distances and are effective even in challenging weather conditions.
Reinforcements will be received by: the 77th Separate Airmobile Naddnipryanska Brigade of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the 3rd Army Corps of the Armed Forces, the 68th Separate Huntsman Brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush, intelligence units, the 103rd Separate Territorial Defense Brigade named after Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky, the 49th Separate Support Forces Demining Brigade, the 80th Separate Air Assault Halytska Brigade, the 214th Separate Assault Battalion OPFOR, the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade, the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Hero of Ukraine Valeriy Hudza, as well as units of the Security Service of Ukraine, National Police, and Military Law Enforcement Service.
‘Importantly: these funds aren’t only about defense. 1 million UAH was allocated for the prosthetics of our warriors at the Superhumans Center. In total, thanks to the ‘Birds’, 25 of our defenders have already undergone prosthetics’, added the head of Lviv region.
