The “Safe Lviv Region” programme covers not only defence support but also measures in the field of civil protection. This includes ensuring the readiness of warning and communications systems, organising rescue operations on water bodies, equipping civil protection structures, supporting the operation of command posts, organising and maintaining the readiness of the regional territorial defence system, as well as ensuring the functioning of fire and rescue units.
