In Lviv region, over UAH 4 million was raised to support Ukrainian service personnel during the charity gastro evening “Taste of Argentina”. The funds raised will be directed towards logistics and communications equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as prosthetics for defenders at the Superhumans Center.
The event was organised by the teams of the charity project “Ptashky Peremohy” (“Birds of Victory”) and the company “Halytska Svizhyna”. During the evening, an auction was held, which made it possible to accumulate a significant amount in donations.
The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Argentine Republic to Ukraine, Elena Leticia Mikusinski, had planned to attend the event, but due to a prolonged air-raid alert in Kyiv, her visit to Lviv did not take place.
Participants noted that since the beginning of the full-scale war, Argentina has delivered 16 consignments of humanitarian aid to Ukraine with a total weight of around 142 tonnes. These include medicines, medical equipment and other essential cargo. The Argentine humanitarian mission “White Helmets” has provided support to Ukrainians fleeing the war, and the Ukrainian diaspora in Argentina is actively involved in collecting and delivering aid.
