In Lviv region a farewell ceremony will be held for Yevhen Demkov, a serviceman of the National Guard of Ukraine who was killed during the Russian-Ukrainian war. The defender’s funeral is planned in the village of Pidhorodtsi in the Skole community in the Stryi district.
Yevhen Demkiv was a resident of the city of Marhanets in Dnipropetrovsk region. He served in the 15th Kara-Dag Rapid Deployment Brigade of the 1st Corps of the Azov National Guard of Ukraine.
During an evacuation from the city of Myrnohrad in Donetsk region, the soldier went missing. Later an official notification arrived stating that on 23 December 2025 he had been killed. At the time of his death, the defender was 37 years old.
Yevhen Demkiv will be buried in the cemetery in Pidhorodtsi. The community extends its condolences to the family and friends of the fallen warrior and thanks him for his service to Ukraine.
