In Lviv region, fallen Heroes from Kherson region were honoured and the anniversary of the IDP support centre was marked

In Lviv region, the memory of 24 Defenders from Kherson region, for whom the region became their final resting place, was honoured, and the anniversary of the work of the coordination centre for supporting internally displaced persons “Vilni Razom” (“Free Together”) was also marked.

It is noted that more than a thousand residents of Kherson region have found temporary shelter and a second home in Lviv region. Together with the Head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, they paid tribute to the fallen soldiers at the Mars Field in Lviv.

The report emphasises the importance of preserving the memory of the fallen heroes’ sacrifice and supporting their families, as well as all those whom the war has forced to leave their homes.

To help displaced people from Kherson region, the “Vilni Razom” IDP Support Coordination Centre operates in the region. Here, people who were forced to leave can receive administrative, legal and psychological support, as well as assistance in adapting to life in a new place and maintaining ties with their home communities.

On the anniversary of the centre’s work, thanks were expressed to everyone involved in the daily support of displaced people and the families of fallen Defenders.
