Ukrainian serviceman Semen Tyshchuk from Uhryniv dies after severe injuries sustained near Pokrovsk

Sad news has been received about the death of Semen Ivanovych Tyshchuk, a combat veteran and resident of the village of Uhryniv, who was born on June 12, 1989.

From an early age, Semen grew up surrounded by the care of his mother and grandmother. He began his education at Sokal Secondary School No. 4 and later completed his full secondary education in his native village of Uhryniv.

Fellow villagers, friends, and everyone who knew Semen Tyshchuk remember him as an exceptionally kind, honest, decent, and fair person.

In February 2026, Semen was called up for military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He carried out combat missions as part of military unit A4862 in the Pokrovsk sector.

While fighting for Ukraine, the serviceman sustained severe injuries. He underwent prolonged medical treatment and fought for his life. Sadly, his heart stopped during rehabilitation.

The funeral service for Semen Tyshchuk will take place on Monday, September 7, at 3:00 p.m. in the village of Uhryniv.
