On 2 February, in the Sumy region, Hero Petro Khomitskyi, born in 1978, bravely fulfilled his military duty in a battle for Ukraine, its freedom and independence.
The sad news was announced today by the Chervonohrad City Council.
We express our sincere condolences to the family of the Hero, share the pain of irreparable loss and bow our heads in grief. We have no right to forget the price of our independence.
