
Roman Tsykvas, a native of Drohobych, has joined the ranks of the heavenly troops.
He was born on August 20, 1980, and received his education at the local school and Sambir Vocational School. About a month ago, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a volunteer, serving in a specialized assault unit. Unfortunately, on July 2, a tragic accident occurred during training, leading to his death.
Roman is survived by his mother, stepfather, two brothers, grandmother, wife, and daughter. The Drohobych City Council along with Mayor Taras Kuchma express their deepest condolences to the family: “We mourn with you and support you in your hour of grief.”
The funeral cortege will be met on July 5 at 13:00 at the Crossroads of Heroes. Details about the funeral will be announced later. Eternal memory to the Hero! Glory to Ukraine!
