In the fighting for Ukraine near the village of Vasynivka in Zaporizhzhia region, a serviceman from the Truskavets community, Mykhailo Syrvatka from the village of Ulychne, has been killed. The soldier died on 8 August while carrying out a combat mission.
In blessed memory of Syrvatka Mykhailo Orestovych, he was born on 15 November 1978. He was married.
According to the community, Mykhailo Syrvatka was mobilised on 25 November 2025 by the Drohobych District Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centre. He served as a driver in the motor section of the 2nd mortar platoon of the motorised infantry battalion of military unit A3425.
The soldier fell in battle, fulfilling his military duty. The date of arrival of the fallen defender’s body and the time of the funeral in the Truskavets community will be announced separately.
The community extends its sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the fallen soldier and thanks him for his selfless service to Ukraine.
