A memorial plaque was erected in honour of Serhiy Varava in his native village of Bilyavtsi. In particular, it was installed in the local gymnasium.
The unveiling took place the day before with the participation of the soldier’s family and fellow villagers.
Serhii Varava
Serhii Varava was born in the village of Ushnia, Zolochiv district. He lived in Bilyavka. He joined the Armed Forces during the full-scale war. He served in the military unit A4821 as a rifleman-paramedic. The serviceman died on 10 June 2023 during a combat mission near the village of Khromove, Donetsk region. He was 33 years old.
Posthumously, the President of Ukraine awarded Serhii the Order of Honour “For Courage”, III degree.
