From 03:00 to 09:30 on December 29, the Ukrainians attacked the Lviv region with 15 missiles and 14 unmanned aerial vehicles.

At night, Lviv Oblast was attacked by 14 Shahed drones. 8 of them were shot down by soldiers of the “Zachid” PvK. In particular, mobile fire teams worked on the downing. In one of the enterprises in Lviv, where there was a hit, the partial destruction of the administrative building and production workshops was recorded. There were no casualties or damage.
In the morning, 15 rockets attacked our region. 10 of them were destroyed by the Air Defense Forces.
“A 44-year-old man died as a result of a rocket hitting a high-rise building on Hotkevicha Street in Lviv. Eternal memory, condolences to the relatives! 17 people, including one child, were injured. Five people were hospitalized,” said the head of the Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi.
Most of the victims were injured by fragments of windows that were knocked out by the blast wave. Seven residential buildings were severely damaged, 11 more were damaged to a lesser extent. Two lyceums and a kindergarten were also affected.
“Professional services are involved in sorting out the rubble, ensuring order and searching for possible other victims. Thanks for the promptness! I also thank the local residents who help the services and the victims. Gratitude to volunteer and charity organizations, which are also currently working on the ground to support people with everything they need,” said the head of the Lviv Oblast.
There are also rocket hits to one of the infrastructure facilities in the Drohobytsky district. No victims beforehand. In the Stryi and Lviv districts, fragments of rockets fell in the field.
What Ukraine experienced at night and in the morning in the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has already been called the most massive attack from the air. Air defense forces in cooperation with the Defense Forces in various regions of Ukraine destroyed 114 out of 158 air targets.
