Nazar Sapeta Awarded the Title Hero of Ukraine and Actively Supports the Armed Forces
Just two weeks ago, I wrote with great pride that the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine with the presentation of the “Golden Star” order to our compatriot from Busk, Nazar Sapeta (Angel Hugo). The day before, I had the honor to personally thank the warrior for being such a strong example of resilience in the face of adversity for all of us.
Nazar lost an arm and a leg in the war. He went through a difficult treatment path. Now – in rehabilitation. Thanks to the charity project “Birds of Victory,” he has already undergone partial prosthetics, lives an active life, swims, and is even preparing for competitions! Together with the “Birds,” he handed over 20 combat drones to his comrades from the 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Support for Military Formations
This time, various military formations received support in the form of 200 drones. In addition to the Halytska Brigade, the support strengthened the warriors of the 68th Separate Hunting Brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush, the 77th Separate Airmobile Brigade, the International Legion, “Azov,” and the Special Operations Forces.
This transfer was made possible thanks to funds raised during a joint charity auction by the Zhovkva, Rava-Ruska, and Kulykiv communities and caring businesses supporting the “Birds of Victory” project.
Initiatives to Support Defenders
Overall, as part of the initiative, nearly 17,000 drones, anti-drone rifles, Starlinks, and other essential equipment have already been delivered to our defenders.
Special tribute for the fact that from 2024, the “Birds” will direct money towards the rehabilitation of our Heroes, like Nazar, at the Superhumans Center and UNBROKEN Ukraine. They have already directed 14 million UAH towards ensuring our defenders once again have arms and legs. They say this is just the beginning!
Igor Dulyn, Oleksandr Tishchenko, Father Makariy Dutka, who has already raised over 29 million (!) UAH for drones, and everyone involved in the project, kudos!
