In the early hours of 20 October, the Lviv region came under another massive attack by jet-powered drones targeting energy infrastructure facilities in various parts of the oblast. According to available information, there were no dead or injured.
The area that suffered most from the strikes was the Solonka community, where debris and blast waves damaged the roofs of one residential house and two holiday homes. No reports have yet been received of damage to critical infrastructure or other serious consequences.
It is noted that the enemy drones were travelling at high speed and frequently changing course, which complicated the work of the air defence forces. Dense fog, which reduced visibility, became an additional obstacle.
Despite the difficult weather conditions, Ukrainian troops managed to engage the aerial targets effectively and prevent any loss of civilian life.
Residents of the region are reminded of the need not to ignore air-raid alerts and to move to shelter immediately whenever danger is announced.
