Defender of Ukraine Ihor Kurlyatovych, a native of Novoyavorivsk, is returning to his native home for the last time. The hero passed away on August 27, as a result of injuries received during enemy shelling in the combat zone.
September 1 at 11:00 a.m. – a prayer meeting of the Hero – Ihor Kurlyatovych on St. Lvivska 23 (opposite the gas station “Okko”).
At 1:00 p.m. – the funeral ceremony of the Hero in the church of St. App. Peter and Paul. Igor will be buried at the local cemetery in Novoyavorivska.
Ihor Maryanovych Kurlyatovych, born on June 6, 1982 in Novoyavorivsk. Ihor graduated from Novoyavoriv Secondary School No. 1. He received his higher education at the Faculty of Transport Technologies at the Lviv Polytechnic. After graduation, the hero worked at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and in 2014 he changed his field of activity and started his own business.
With the beginning of a full-scale invasion, he decided to join the ranks of the Terrodefense, where he quickly achieved the rank of senior lieutenant and platoon commander. He was brave and loyal, while having a soft and very kind heart.
Outside of official duties, Ihor valued sports and active recreation, he was a fan of football and fishing. His family always came first for him, and he was the proud father of three children.
Waiting for the soldier at home were: mother Halyna Bogdanivna, father Maryan Ivanovych, daughters Victoria and Veronika, son Valentin and brother Roman with their family.
