The Novyi Rozdil community has laid to rest its defender Oleh Skrut. The farewell ceremonies took place in the village of Hranky-Kuty.
In the Church of the Archistrategos Michael in Hranky-Kuty, a joint prayer was offered for the repose of the warrior’s soul. Family and friends, comrades-in-arms, representatives of the city authorities and residents of the community came to pay their last respects to Oleh Skrut.
Those present at the farewell honoured the courage and selflessness of the Ukrainian serviceman who gave his life for the freedom and independence of Ukraine. The fallen defender was buried at the Hranky-Kuty cemetery.
By order of the mayor, 6–7 October have been declared Days of Mourning in the Novyi Rozdil community for the fallen defender Oleh Skrut.
