The Novyi Rozdil community has accompanied serviceman Taras Volodymyrovych Kolodii on his final journey after he died following a prolonged battle with a serious illness. This was reported by the Novyi Rozdil City Council.
Taras Kolodii was called up for military service to the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and served in military unit A5001. The community notes that he carried out his military duty with honour, remaining faithful to his oath and to the Ukrainian people.
After a lengthy course of treatment, the serviceman died in the intensive care hospital in the city of Stryi.
The Novyi Rozdil City Council and residents of the community expressed their heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the deceased defender, stressing that the cherished memory of Taras Kolodii will forever remain in the hearts of his grateful fellow citizens.
