In the Novyi Rozdil community, a mourning escort was held for the cortege bearing the body of soldier Roman Nadorozhnyi. Residents of the community gathered to meet the vehicles and prayed for the fallen defender.
A brief prayer took place near the soldier’s home on 1 Shevchenko Avenue, as well as at the “Alley of Heroes”. After this, the cortege proceeded to the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary at 2 A. Sheptytskyi Street (the “Bam” neighbourhood), where a memorial service is scheduled for 18:30.
The funeral service is set for Sunday at 14:00, after which the burial will take place at the Malekhiv Cemetery.
The community pays tribute to the memory of Roman Nadorozhnyi and expresses its support to his family.
