Resident of the village of Dobryachyn, Oleh Baranskyi, born in 1985, was a sergeant and gunner in the airborne assault unit of the 95th Separate Air Assault Brigade. For a year and a half, he was considered missing in action. Recently, the tragic news arrived that the warrior was killed on 28 September 2024 while carrying out a combat mission near the settlement of Medvezhye in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
We express our deepest condolences to Oleh’s parents, his son and brother, as well as all the relatives, friends, and comrades of the Hero. We share the pain of this irreparable loss and bow our heads in mourning. It is our duty to remember the immense cost of our independence and freedom. Eternal memory and glory to the Hero.
