Tomorrow, 24 March, Hero Oleksiy Sukhinyuk returns to his native community. The solemn cortege will be met in Sheptytskyi at approximately 13:00, as reported by the Sheptytskyi City Council.
After the Hero’s arrival, at 13:30, a Requiem Mass and funeral service will commence at the Church of the Holy Virgin Mary, Sovereign of Ukraine. The Warrior will be laid to rest in the Avenue of Heroes at Bendyuzh Cemetery. We ask the community to meet our Hero and honourably accompany him on his final journey, as he gave the most precious thing – his own life for our independence and for each of us.
