Ivan Kerdman: The Warrior Who Loved Heights and His Family
“My husband was a very kind, sincere, and honest person. He adored me and the children; we were always his first priority. He simply adored his job, because conquering heights was his favorite activity,” his wife said about our fallen warrior Ivan Kerdman.
The Life and Service of Ivan Kerdman
Ivan was born in the city of Kherson. Mountaineering and conquering heights were his hobbies. During the full-scale Russian invasion, he joined the ranks of the 125th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade.
He died on June 12, 2022, during the performance of his duties near the village of Tymofiivka in the Kharkiv region. The warrior was 33 years old.
Remembering the Hero
The defender was buried in the Mars Field of the Lychakiv Cemetery in Lviv. The Lviv Regional State Administration, together with the Memory Platform “Heroes’ Memorial,” commemorates the fallen defenders from the Lviv region.
