My brother Roman was a man of his word, honest, fair, and reliable. He will forever remain in the memory of his family, friends, comrades, and everyone who knew him as smiling, cheerful, and the soul of the company, – shared his cousin Veronika Yatsyna about the fallen defender from Lviv region, Roman Dedyulia.
The Life Path of Roman Dedyulia
Roman was from the village of Nove Misto in the Lviv region. Since childhood, he dreamed of defending his country and being in the military. After graduating from school, he immediately joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since November 2021, he served in the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine on a contract basis.
In 2023, he actively participated in the battles for Bakhmut. He underwent military training in the UK and Moldova.
Tragic Death in Kharkiv Region
Border guard Roman Dedyulia died on June 12, 2024, in the Kharkiv region. He was 21 years old.
The Lviv Regional State Administration, in cooperation with the Memory Platform Memorial of Heroes, honors the memory of the fallen defenders who hail from the Lviv region.
