Life Path and Military Service
Oleksandr was born in Sheptytskyi. From 2009 to 2010, he served in the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. In April 2015, he defended the country as part of the 9th Vinnytsia Territorial Defense Battalion, particularly in Bakhmut and Popasna.
With the onset of full-scale war, he served in the ranks of the 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade. He was the commander of an anti-tank support unit. He performed combat missions in the Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, and Donetsk directions.
The Last Battle and Honoring His Memory
He died on September 24, 2022, near the village of Piski-Radkivski in the Kharkiv region. He was 33 years old.
- Posthumously awarded the Order “For Courage” III degree.
- The defender was buried in the Alley of Heroes of the cemetery in the village of Bendyuha, Sheptytskyi district.
The Lviv Regional State Administration, together with the Hero Memorial Memory Platform, honors the memory of fallen defenders from Lviv region.
