It is with deep sorrow that we announce the loss of our compatriot — serviceman Pavlo Yuskiv, who was born on 28 May 1990 and hailed from the village of Krasne. He attended school in the village of Kizliv, now part of the Busk community. In his adult life, he lived with his family in the Horodok district, where he and his wife raised two children. His mother and two sisters also mourn his loss.
On 16 January 2025, at approximately 18:50, Pavlo went missing during a combat mission near the settlement of Daryino in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, during defensive actions against Russian aggression. For a long time, his family held onto hope, but unfortunately, it was not realised — the Hero was killed.
Pavlo Yuskiv’s funeral will take place on Wednesday, 6 May 2026, in the village of Milyatyn, Horodok district. It will commence at 13:00. A bus will be organised for those wishing to pay their respects, departing at 09:30 from the Busk City Council building.
