The death has been reported of serviceman Oleh Yatsenko, born in 1973, who had previously been listed as missing in action. Information about his death was confirmed several months after his disappearance.
Oleh Yatsenko served as a private, a grenadier in the rifle squad of the 2nd Territorial Defence Battalion of military unit A7048. Since May this year, his family had lived in the hope of his return, as that was when the soldier went missing.
According to updated information, the serviceman was killed on 3 May while carrying out a combat mission near the settlement of Masliakivka in Donetsk region.
