With deep sorrow, the Belyz City Council reports the confirmed death of Ukraine’s Defender — Ruslan Ivanovych Drobyshev, a resident of Tsebliv village, born in 1976.
Ruslan was enlisted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine on July 2, 2024. He served in the mechanized battalion of military unit A5006 as a machine gunner. He loyally fulfilled his duties and remained true to his military oath.
On October 27, 2024, Ruslan went missing while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Novoselydivka in the Pokrovskyi district of Donetsk region during enemy assault actions. Following investigative procedures and forensic analysis, his death was officially confirmed. He was declared fallen in the line of duty.
The Belyz community extends sincere condolences to the soldier’s mother, sister, relatives, and comrades. The entire community shares in your grief and honors the memory of our Hero.
The body of Ruslan Drobyshev will be received on Monday, December 22. The mourning convoy is expected to leave Lviv between 11:00 and 12:00.

Upon arrival at his home in Tsebliv, a prayer vigil will be held. Afterwards, the funeral procession will proceed to the church and then to the cemetery, where the Hero will be laid to rest.
The exact time of arrival will be announced later.
Residents are urged to respectfully meet the Defender, pay their final respects, and accompany him with prayer.
