Infantryman Mykhailo Hubal from Volosianka honoured with combat awards

On Ukrainian Statehood Day, people paid tribute to infantryman Mykhailo Hubal from Volosianka, who has been defending Ukraine for many years and has been recognised with numerous combat awards.

The serviceman took part in the ATO/JFO and is currently continuing to defend the state’s independence. For his courage, bravery and conscientious fulfilment of his military duty, Mykhailo Hubal has been awarded the badge “Combat Infantryman”, the medals “For Bravery in Battle”, “For Courage”, “For the Defence of the Native State”, the Cossack Cross “For Combat Merits”, as well as the distinction of the 3rd Mechanised Battalion of the 65th Separate Mechanised Brigade “For Combat Merits”.

During the congratulatory address, it was emphasised that Ukrainian statehood rests on centuries-old history, the unity of the people and the selfless service of such warriors as Mykhailo Hubal, who, with weapons in their hands, defend the country’s freedom and future.
