
Resident of the village Lisok, Senior Soldier Volodymyr Lavryniv, died on April 2, 2024, during a combat mission near Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region.
As a result of the repatriation of combatants’ bodies fallen due to Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine, and DNA examinations conducted by experts, our compatriot was identified.
“Volodymyr defended Ukraine, its independence, and territorial integrity as part of the 425th Separate Assault Regiment ‘Skala’ of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” stated the report. He served as a senior rifleman-operator and participated in battles with the enemy in Donetsk region.
The warrior with honor and dignity fulfilled his civic and military duty to the end, remaining faithful to the oath and the Ukrainian people. He was only 35 years old. The Hero leaves behind his parents, sister, and nephews.
