Law enforcement officers are searching for Andriy Paliy, born in 1988, a resident of Sheptytskyi district, Lviv region, on suspicion of committing a double murder.
Description of the wanted man:
- age – 36 years old,
- height – 175 cm,
- strong build,
- dark hair, shortly cut.
Special features: half of the index finger on the left hand is missing, there is a tattoo on the right shoulder, the left leg is slightly shorter than the right.
Anyone who has information that will help establish the whereabouts of the wanted man is asked to call the operative line 102 or 067 496 00 97.
Attention: Do not take any actions to detain the wanted person or a person resembling him on your own. The offender may be armed.

On 4 October, in the morning, the police received a report about the discovery of a man’s body without signs of life, with gunshot wounds.
The investigative team of the Chervonohrad District Police Department, criminal investigation operatives, forensic experts and officers of other police services of Lviv region immediately arrived at the scene.
Law enforcers identified the deceased as a 51-year-old local resident who was shot dead on the territory of his own household. In addition, the police found the body of his 48-year-old wife in the house – also without signs of life, with head injuries. The measures taken revealed that after committing the crimes, the attacker drove away in the car of the owner of the household he killed.
Officers of all police services and units of Lviv region are involved in establishing the whereabouts and detention of the offender. A special police operation is under way.
Investigators of the Chervonohrad Police Department, under the procedural supervision of the Chervonohrad District Prosecutor’s Office, are investigating the incident under Article 115, Part 2, Clause 1 (Intentional murder of two or more persons) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum sentence provided for by the sanction of the article is life imprisonment.
