The President Posthumously Awards Six Defenders

The President of Ukraine awarded six defenders from the Sheptytskyi district with the ‘For Courage’ III degree orders. The awards were given posthumously.

This was reported by the head of the Lviv OVA, Maksym Kozytskyi. ‘Strength and endurance to the relatives and loved ones. I believe that we will be able to return all of ours’, he remarked.

Among the awarded: Mykola Zanko, Roman Tsybak, Yaroslav Lychko, Petro Romanchuk, Andriy Khomych, and Roman Khas. They died while performing combat missions in various regions of Ukraine.

Awards were also given to defenders considered missing: Vasyl Vasylyuk and Bohdan Datsko. They were recognized for their courage and bravery.
