
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky awarded high state honors to members of the national team at the international competitions “Invictus Games.”
Among the awardees are representatives from Lviv region, who are warriors, veterans, medical professionals, and athletes with extraordinary spirit. The Order of Merit, 3rd class, was awarded to Volodymyr Hera, a veteran and Lieutenant Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a silver medalist in the Invictus Games in shot put and discus throw. Pavlo Luchkiv, a veteran of the Armed Forces, won a gold medal in compound archery and represented Ukraine in wheelchair basketball, wheelchair rugby, and table tennis.
Dmytro Kozak, a serviceman of the National Guard of Ukraine, and Inna Korolenko, a junior sergeant and former combat medic, were honored with the Order of Courage, 3rd class. Yevhen Tyurin, a senior sergeant of the National Guard of Ukraine, also received this award.
These awards symbolize not only athletic achievements but also the journey through war towards recovery, the courage to remain strong, and the honor of representing Ukraine in the world.
