The Putiatychi community has reported the tragic death of a serviceman who was serving in military unit A2678. On 28 June 2026, while at home on service leave, soldier Roman Stepanovych Koval, born in 1975 (26.07.1975), died.
The announcement states that the residents of the community share the pain of this loss and extend their sincere condolences to the fallen warrior’s sisters and their families.
The community stresses the importance of preserving the memory of Roman Koval and his dedication to his civic duty in defending the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine, paying him bright remembrance and respect.
