The Radekhiv community has reported the death of serviceman Yurii Didymus. The soldier, a native of the village of Seredpiltsi, died on 8 October 2026 while undergoing treatment in hospital.
According to the community, Didymus Yurii Myroslavovych, born in 1987 (24.10.1987), served as a rifleman-chemist in the 3rd security section of the 4th security platoon of the 1st security company of the 6th security battalion.
On behalf of the entire community, the Radekhiv City Council expressed its condolences to the soldier’s family, relatives, friends and comrades-in-arms, noting that it shares their pain at the irreparable loss.
The cortege with the body of the fallen defender is to be met on 10 October 2026 at 15:00 in the village of Seredpiltsi. Residents of the village are asked to form a human corridor to honour the memory of the warrior and accompany him on his final journey.
The funeral service is scheduled for 11 October 2026 at 11:30 in the village of Seredpiltsi.
