The Radekhiv community has announced the loss of a serviceman from the village of Rozhzhaliv. On 8 August 2026, Junior Sergeant Liubomyr Pokynbroda, born in 1971, a rifleman and assistant grenadier of the security section of the security platoon of the security company of the security battalion, passed away.
On behalf of the entire community, the Radekhiv City Council extended its sincere condolences to the family, loved ones, friends and comrades-in-arms of the defender of Ukraine, noting that it shares their pain at this irreparable loss.
The cortege bearing the body of the fallen defender will be received on 11 August 2026 at 11:00 in Radekhiv. The City Council has appealed to the townspeople to come out to the Heavenly Hundred stele and along Lvivska–Stoyanivska streets up to the statue of Jesus Christ, to form a guard of honour and pay their respects to the serviceman.
After the cortege is received, Liubomyr Pokynbroda will be escorted on his final journey to his native village of Rozhzhaliv, where the funeral rite will take place immediately.
The community stresses its gratitude to the defender of Ukraine and will preserve the memory of him with respect.
