The community of Radechiv mourns the loss of its native son, Ukrainian defender Oleksandr Ihorovych Martyniuk (09/17/1969 – 01/17/2025). His courageous example of patriotism and dedication to the Motherland will forever remain in our hearts.
The procession with the Hero’s body will arrive in Radechiv today, January 21, 2025, at 3:00 PM. Residents are encouraged to join the live corridor, which will be formed along Tarnavskyi and Smal-Stotskyi Streets, starting at the Heavenly Hundred Memorial and leading to the Hero’s home. This is a significant moment to express gratitude and pay due respect to the Defender.
The funeral service will take place tomorrow, January 22, 2025, at 12:00 PM in the Church of St. Nicholas in Radechiv.
