
In Lviv district, the families of fallen Ukrainian service personnel were solemnly presented with posthumous state and military awards. The presentation ceremony was led by the head of the Lviv District State Administration, Pavlo Hrabskyi, and the event was reported by the Kulykiv Settlement Council.
Soldier Andrii Volodymyrovych Kushnir was posthumously honoured with the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine decoration “Cross of Valour”. The award was presented to his family in recognition of his courage and service to Ukraine.
Junior Sergeant Yaroslav Mykhailovych Vovkun was posthumously awarded the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine insignia “Combatant’s Cross”, as well as the decorations “Honour and Remembrance”. These awards were also presented to his loved ones.
The Kulykiv Settlement Council noted that for the families of the fallen defenders, these awards combine the bitter pain of loss with pride in their loved ones, who gave their lives for Ukraine, demonstrating unbreakable courage and devotion to their native land.
