9 September 2025 marks a year since the day the war claimed the life of defender Ivan Vasylovych Melnychuk. After his death, the warrior was laid to rest in his native Dmytrivka land.
Relatives, friends and the community remember Ivan Melnychuk with deep sorrow and gratitude for his service to Ukraine. On the anniversary of his death, people come together in prayer and remembrance of the fallen defender.
The name of Ivan Melnychuk remains on the roll for his family and fellow villagers, who regard him as part of the heavenly legion of Heroes of Ukraine.
