In Lviv, at the Garrison Church of the Holy Supreme Apostles Peter and Paul, a ceremony was held to honour the servicemen of the 141st Separate Mechanised Brigade who gave their lives defending Ukraine.
During the event, 29 families of fallen soldiers received posthumous “Combatant’s Cross” awards. Among those honoured was the family of our fellow countryman Oleksii Yavorskyi, to whom this distinction was awarded posthumously.
The community emphasises that the memory of every defender who died for Ukraine’s independence will remain alive in people’s hearts and will serve as an example of service to the state for future generations.
