Roman Krentzel from Lviv Killed in Action Defending Ukraine

In the city of Lviv, a farewell will be held on 13th April for defender Roman Krentzel, who was killed while defending Ukraine. The public is invited to participate in the farewell ceremony by refraining from entertainment on this day.

The farewell will commence at 10:00 at the Seventh-day Adventist Church on Bobanycha St, 1. The funeral service will take place at 12:00 at the Garrison Church of Sts. Peter and Paul, followed by a citywide ceremony at Market Square. Roman Krentzel will be buried at 12:30 at the Lychakiv Cemetery, Field of Honour No. 87.

Service member Roman Krentzel was born on 13th November 1999 in Lviv. He studied at Lviv School No. 7 and later pursued his education at the National University “Lviv Polytechnic”. He served at the Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National Army Academy and fought for Ukraine’s sovereignty as part of the 22nd Separate Battalion of Unmanned Systems “Kratos”.

Roman was awarded by the Ministry of Defence and received other honourable distinctions. He is survived by his parents, two older brothers, a younger sister, and other family members.
