Roman Seniv from Drohobych Dies in Battle for Ukraine

In Drohobych, a farewell ceremony took place for Roman Seniv, who heroically died defending Ukraine. The funeral procession arrived with his body on 19th May, met by family, friends, and community members at the Heroes’ Crossroads. They paid their respects to the fallen by gathering for a collective prayer.

Roman was born in 1978. He lived in Drohobych and the village of Monastyrets-Lishnyansky. He studied at Drohobych School No. 17 and later at Pidbuz Vocational School No. 23. His career began at “Ukrtelecom”, and he later served in the State Emergency Service. During the war in the east, he already had experience as a veteran of the ATO and returned from abroad to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a senior soldier in military unit A4010.

On 13th May 2026, Roman’s life was abruptly cut short. The farewell took place in the Church of Saint Prophet Elijah on 20th May. His memory will remain in the hearts of his loved ones: his wife Natalia, son Roman, parents, brother Andriy, and nephews.
