Last night, Russia once again conducted attacks on critical infrastructure and residential buildings in Ukraine. Ukraine’s Ministry of Internal Affairs Lviv reported that 420 drones were launched, most of which were “Shaheds”, along with 39 missiles of various types, including 11 ballistic ones. The attack resulted in destruction in eight regions, damaging many private and multi-story buildings. Dozens of people were injured, including children.
Gas infrastructure facilities in Poltava region and electrical substations in the Kyiv and Dnipro regions were also targeted. Rescue operations were conducted in Chernihiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Kirovohrad, Vinnytsia, Kyiv regions, and in the capital. Thanks to the help of partners, most of the launched missiles were intercepted, as part of the air defense missiles were sent promptly as agreed at the last “Ramstein” meeting. However, unfortunately, there were also hits. This underscores the need to continue active efforts, as the cold has not fully receded, and air defense missiles are needed daily while Russia attempts to destroy our energy sector. Thank you to everyone who understands and supports this effort.
