
Rostyslav Senchuk, a resident of the village of Stenyatyn in the Sokal area, was killed in action near the village of Kurdiumivka in the Bakhmut district of Donetsk region.
Rostyslav Stepanovych Senchuk was born on 28 June 1988. From 1994 to 2003 he studied at Stenyatyn School, and in 2007 he graduated from the Horokhiv Agricultural College. After that, in the same year, he did his compulsory military service in Kyiv in the Podil district.
From 2009 to 2012 he held a position of responsibility at the Sokal Correctional Colony, and later worked abroad for a long period. On 29 August 2022 he was called up for military service. He served in the 46th Brigade of the Air Assault Forces, military unit 4350, carrying out his duties in the Kherson and Donetsk sectors, where he distinguished himself for bravery and received commendations from the unit’s command.
For a long time, Rostyslav Senchuk was listed as missing, and his parents awaited his return. DNA testing confirmed that he was killed on 15 December 2022 in a bloody battle near Kurdiumivka.
His parents, Oksana and Stepan, his sister Svitlana, his nephew Maksym and niece Evelina, and the entire family mourn the fallen Hero with profound grief.
The arrival of the funeral cortege with the body of Rostyslav Senchuk will take place tomorrow at 15:00 by the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul. The cortege will then proceed to the village of Stenyatyn, to his family home, where a memorial vigil will be held.
The funeral of Rostyslav Senchuk will begin on Saturday, 13 June, at 13:00 in Stenyatyn.
