The residents of the Mostyska community are mourning the death of Serhiy Kozyniak, a native of the village of Zaverkhy, who was killed during a battle in the village of Antonivka in the Pokrovsky district. He was long considered missing in action, but his family held out hope of finding him alive.
Serhiy defended Ukraine to his last breath, remaining faithful to his military oath. The Mostyska community shares the grief of this loss with his family and extends heartfelt condolences to his mother, wife, and young daughter.
A farewell to the Hero will take place on 8 April. The cortege will arrive at the village of Konopnytsia, then proceed along Horodotska, Ivasyuka, and Ozerna streets to the home where the soldier lived. Afterwards, a burial will take place at the local cemetery.
