Today, 27 April, the Heavenly Legion is joined by forty-six-year-old Serhiy Mykolayovych Reutov. Serhiy was a fervent defender of Ukraine since 2014 when he voluntarily went to war. For five years, he defended our independence as part of the 8th Separate Volunteer Battalion ‘Aratta’.
In 2020, Serhiy signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During the full-scale invasion, he, a senior soldier and grenadier, fought as part of the 24th Separate Mechanised Brigade named after King Danylo.
Sadly, in September 2024, Serhiy suffered severe injuries during the battles for Chasiv Yar. Due to his health condition, he was demobilised, but his heart stopped on 27 April. We express our sincere condolences to the hero’s family and comrades. Eternal memory to the Hero!
