While carrying out a combat mission near the settlement of Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka in Kramatorsk district of Donetsk region, Police Sergeant Mykola Tsyduliak was killed. He served in the United Assault Brigade of the National Police of Ukraine “Liut” (“Fury”) and took part in repelling the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
Mykola Dmytrovych Tsyduliak was born on 19 December 1999 and grew up in the village of Nahachiv. In 2016 he finished the local school, after which he qualified as a car mechanic. To his fellow villagers and acquaintances he is remembered as a sincere, kind, sociable and hard-working person, who knew how to support others and left behind warm memories.
In March 2023 Mykola voluntarily stepped forward to defend Ukraine, joining the “Liut” assault brigade of the National Police of Ukraine. From autumn 2024 he was constantly on the eastern frontlines, carrying out combat missions in the most difficult sectors of the front, in particular in the areas of Toretsk, Pokrovsk, Chasiv Yar and Kostiantynivka.
For his courage, bravery and selflessness, in the summer of 2025, by order of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, Mykola Tsyduliak was awarded the honorary breast badge “Golden Cross”. His comrades-in-arms remember him as a brave, reliable and devoted warrior, who was always ready to come to the rescue and never hid behind others.
On 5 August 2026, while carrying out a combat mission near Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka, Mykola Tsyduliak was killed, giving his life for the freedom and future of Ukraine. He is mourned by his wife, three young children, mother, father, two brothers, sister-in-law and nieces.
The date and time of the arrival of the cortege with the body of the fallen defender and the funeral service will be announced separately.
