🕯️ Mykola Hosovskyi
A resident of Lviv. In 2024, he joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He carried out combat missions in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna sector as part of the 156th Separate Mechanized Brigade, and later as part of the 5th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade. The defender passed away on August 12.
🕯️ Oleh Chornii
A resident of Sambir, junior sergeant. Commander of the 2nd Rifle Squad of the 1st Territorial Defense Battalion of military unit A4076. The defender passed away on August 18.
🕯️ Vasyl Ivanishyn
Originally from the village of Voroblevychi in the Medenychi community.
He joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in February 2023. He was killed on December 26, 2025, while carrying out a combat mission near the settlement of Novopavlivka, Synelnykove District, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. He had been considered missing in action for a long time.
🕯️ Serhii Melnychenko
A native of the city of Balkhash, Karaganda Region, Kazakhstan. He later lived in the village of Vorobiivka, Novhorod-Siverskyi District, Chernihiv Oblast. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, he stood up to defend Ukraine. He served as assistant to the operational duty officer at the reserve command post of military unit A4324. Unfortunately, the defender’s heart stopped on August 18 while he was on leave. He was 52 years old.
🕯️ Yaroslav Kapustyak
A resident of the village of Leshkiv, Sheptytskyi District. The soldier served in military unit A7400 as a machine gunner.
For more than two years, Yaroslav had been considered missing in action. He was killed on May 1, 2024, in the city of Chasiv Yar, Donetsk Oblast.
🕯️ Vasyl Popyk
A resident of Sambir.
A soldier, he served as a senior driver in the grenade launcher squad of the mechanized battalion of military unit A0693.
He joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in April 2022. He was killed while carrying out a combat mission on August 11 in the village of Bohodarove, Izium District, Kharkiv Oblast.
